At Revolution, community engagement and support for local schools are at the heart of our mission. Recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the administration and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Thanksgiving Elementary in Selma, NC, for a special Parents Night Out Fundraiser. As part of our commitment to education through our Partners in Education Program, we offer various avenues to assist and uplift local schools.
The event took place at our facility in Clayton, NC, where we hosted one of our highly popular Parents Night Out events. This evening was designed to be both entertaining and educational for the kids, providing them with three hours of fun-filled activities. The agenda included engaging athletic games, beginner martial arts lessons, and activities aimed at building the foundation of self-esteem and discipline.
For an affordable fee of just $24.99, kids not only enjoyed a range of activities but also received a karate lesson, along with pizza and drinks. Parents could relax, knowing their children were having a blast while learning essential life skills in a safe and supervised environment.
What made this event even more special was our commitment to giving back to the community. In support of Thanksgiving Elementary, we pledged to donate all proceeds from the Parents Night Out Fundraiser to their PTA. Our founder, Scot Schwichow, expressed his excitement by personally visiting Thanksgiving Elementary this week to meet with the staff and deliver a check representing the generous contribution from our event.
If you are involved with the PTA or administration of a local elementary school and are interested in exploring how we can contribute to your school’s success, we encourage you to reach out to us at 919-359-1776.
