Why We Invest in Our Karate Instructors in Clayton NC

Why We Invest in Our Karate Instructors in Clayton NC
Mr. Ty, Karate and Kickboxing Legend Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, and Mr. Scot at our last training event!

At Revolution Modern Martial Arts, we believe that continuous growth is key to delivering the best experience for our students and their families. That’s why there will be no martial arts classes this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday—the instructor team are leaving the karate dojo in Clayton and heading to Florida for top-tier training to bring back even more value to our martial arts programs for kids and adults!

If you’re new to our dojo in Clayton, you might not know that we do this three times a year. These trips are all about sharpening our skills in teaching karate, running events, and improving customer service. While many martial arts schools don’t invest in this kind of ongoing training, we see it as essential to ensuring that we’re constantly evolving to serve our community better.

What We’ll Be Doing in Florida:

Each of our team members will be following different “tracks” at the event, focusing on specific areas to enhance what we offer:

Mr. Ken will be diving into dynamic drills, instruction principles, and new ways to challenge and inspire our students in karate class and our specialty martial arts classes.

Mr. Ty will be honing his skills in instructor management and learning how to bring out the best in our junior and part-time instructors.

Mr. Andy will focus on improving customer service and planning exciting events for our students and families.

Mr. Scot (that’s me!) will be collaborating with hundreds of other martial arts school owners to explore new ways to create more opportunities for our staff, students, and their families.

Why This Matters:

It’s not just about personal growth—it’s about making Revolution Modern Martial Arts in Clayton the best it can be for both kids and adults. These training trips are an investment, not just in time but also in money. Traveling to Orlando three times a year with a team can get expensive, but we believe it’s worth every penny. The knowledge and skills we bring back help us ensure that we’re always offering the highest quality classes, events, and experiences possible.

We appreciate your understanding and support while we’re away. In the meantime, don’t forget to practice your karate skills at home! Promotions are just around the corner, and this is a great time to use the videos in our app to stay sharp.

Thank you for being part of the Revolution family, and we can’t wait to bring what we’ve learned back to you!

See you in class soon!
